Dr Matteo Negro, is widely experienced in laser technology, ISO 13485 and the requirements of medical devices regulations. Matteo is leading the company after having built a technical team with expert knowledge in the critical technology areas. As a CTO, Matteo is also leading product design and development.

Francesco Crisafi

Francesco Crisafi
CTO

Francesco obtained a Ph.D. on Raman Microscopy at Politecnico di Milano and gained industry experience in fibre lasers development and characterization. He spent almost two years working in Zurich as a postdoc and then in a high-tech startup. Francesco is leading the R&D department.

Quality Assurance & Regulatory Manager

Elisa obtained a master degree in Biomedical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. She has 8 years industry experience on ISO 13485 and medical devices regulations. Elisa is now responsible for both company and product certification.

Francesca Marinoni

Production & Supply Chain Manager

Physics Engineer, 3 years experience as Laser Manufacturing Engineer and 4 years as Production Manager of solid state lasers and RF energy-based devices in the medical field.

Andrea Ragni

Andrea Ragni
Electronics Engineer

Andrea obtained a Ph.D in Electronics Engineering from Politecnico di Milano discussing the thesis: “High-Speed and Low-Noise Multichannel Electronics for Broadband Coherent Raman Imaging”. Successively he got a post-doc scholarship on the same topic. Andrea is responsible for the acquisition system design and development.

Electronics Engineer

Federico obtained a Master Degree in Electronics Engineering from Politecnico di Milano discussing the thesis: “Multichannel Digital System for Closed-Loop Control Of Densely-Integrated Photonic Circuits”. He joined the R&D team and his activity is focused on the design and development of the acquisition system.

Gabriele Di Noia

R&D Engineer

Gabriele obtained a Master Degree in Engineering Physics at Politecnico di Milano specialising in the field of Photonics and Nano-Optics. Gabriele is now part of the R&D team, focusing on the development of innovative fiber lasers and Coherent Raman platforms.

Mujeeb Rahman

Mujeeb Rahman
Laser Engineer

Mujeeb obtained a master’s degree in Optoelectronics from university of South Wales in the UK. Previously he has worked on the production of High-power pulsed fibre lasers. Mujeeb is currently a part of the R&D team, focusing on the development of graphene based saturable absorber.

Eleonora obtained a Master’s Degree in Engineering Physics at Politecnico di Milano specialising in the field of Photonics and Nano-Optics. Eleonora is now part of the R&D team, focusing on the development of microscopy and imaging systems for Coherent Raman platforms.

Eric Fantuzzi

Eric Fantuzzi
Microscopy development leader

Eric obtained a PhD at Institut Fresnel (FR), awarded through a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship. His work focuses on nonlinear microscopy techniques, including SRS, SHG and CARS microscopy, to advance rapid cancer diagnosis. He joined CRI to contribute to microscope development, system integration, and applications.

Fedele Pisani

Industrial PHD candidate

Fedele holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering Physics from Politecnico di Milano, with a specialization in Photonics and Nano-Optics. As a PhD student at Politecnico di Milano, in collaboration with the National Research Council and CRI, he is dedicated to the development of innovative fiber lasers for Coherent Raman platforms.

Federica Padelli

Industrial PHD candidate

Master’s degree in chemistry and pharmaceutical technology. Ph.D student in Physics at Politecnico di Milano. In CRI is focused on label free microscopy development.

Professor Ferrari, a cofounder and scientific advisor of CRI, is a leading researcher in graphene and related materials. He is Professor of Nanotechnology at the University of Cambridge and the Director of the Cambridge Graphene Centre and of the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Graphene Technology.
